We're Not Doing Black Friday This Year - And Here's Why
We believe that our choices should reflect our values. That's why this year we have decided not to join Black Friday. We believe that this campaign of excessive consumption goes against the principles of the circular economy and slow fashion.
Black Friday promotes reckless consumerism, encouraging impulsive purchases that often result in waste and excess. For brands that follow the circular economy like Lazuli, this model doesn't make sense. We work to create products with a positive impact on the world and to value every resource used, from materials to production methods. The speed and low prices of Black Friday are not in line with the values of those who seek to consume consciously.
We follow the principles of the circular economy: reducing waste, extending the useful life of products and creating more environmentally friendly production cycles. With slow fashion, we promote conscious consumption, encouraging choices based on quality and longevity, rather than quick, disposable trends.
This year, instead of taking part in Black Friday, we want to inspire you to reflect on the consumer choices you make. What we buy should be an investment, not only in ourselves, but also in the future of the planet.
